Lorraine Bieze Murder

On August 30, 1982, 21-year-old waitress Lorraine Bieze finished her lunch shift and began walking home from the Snuggery Saloon in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The next day, her body was found near the train tracks in Platt’s Wayne Woods. Despite multiple investigations by the DuPage County Sheriff’s Office spanning more than four decades, the case remains unsolved.

The IATA now represents Lorraine’s family, urging the DCSO to aggressively reinvestigate her case. We have provided technical expertise on cold-case methodology, recommended advanced DNA analysis, and offered to help secure grant funding to offset investigative costs.

Join us in seeking justice for Lorraine and bringing closure to her family.
